The Government is restructuring and transforming Agricultural Prices focus on emerging issues of agriculture policy in the light of present day global order. Beside dealing with issues that are related with macro economic policies, taxes and subsidies, sectoral terms of trade, World trade and WTO, API will analyze the impact of policies on consumers, processors and exporters and also advise on policy adjustments to achieve greater efficiency and equity.

 The Government is looking for a well qualified person who can guide on restructuring API and make it a premiere institution of policy analysis in the field of capabilities in agriculture economics and allied fields, and must have strong analytical ability in agricultural policy work.

Qualification and experience of the expected candidatures are as below:

• Ph.D in Economics/Agriculture Economics from an internationally recognized institution/University.

• A minimum of 15 years experience of agriculture policy research or planning with some management assignments.

• Demonstrated abilities of leadership and dynamism.

• Upper age limit: 55 years

A good compensation package equivalent to MP-I will be offered to the selected candidate.
