Expression of Interest

The Decentralization Support Program (DSP) is an initiative of the Government of Pakistan being implemented under a loan agreement with the Asian Development Bank, to carry forward reforms in the area of decentralization, fiscal restructuring and governance.

The DSP is inviting research proposals from academicians/individuals on the following subject area:

"Pattern of Spending in Local Governments (LGs)-Analysis and Recommendations for Enhancing LG Performance."

The research activity may be proposed up to Rs 0.52 million.

Requirements:

The academicians/individuals much have the following qualification and Experience:

• A Masters degree in social sciences of related field in the proposed research area.
• At least five years of experience in research or 3-5 research publications to his/her credit.
• Prior experience of research or academic writing on specific themes related to decentralization/local government is an added advantage.
