Job Opportunities
Plan is an independent, international and
non-governmental organization dedicated to work with and for children . Plan
Pakistan is a member of a network of some 66 countries around the world.
Currently we are seeking dynamic, experienced and strongly committed individuals
for following positions.
1. Microfinance Adviser (Base at
Islamabad)
The incumbent will take on a lead role
developing, implementing, and monitoring a comprehensive Micro Finance Programme
in the Plan-supported communities. He/she will be responsible for ensuring that
Micro-finance programs in Pakistan integrate the elements of the high
performance programme model plan has adopted.
The successful candidate should have
the following experience and qualifications:

A strong awareness of current issues in
the field of microfinance and familiarity with children 's and women issues in
particular.

Experience and skills in networking with
poor children and their families, local and international NGO's government
partners, and local community-based organizations.
-
Team building and strategic planning
skills, interpersonal communication skills, and excellent written and analytical
skills.
-
Experience in fund raising and resource
mobilization at local and (International) levels will be an added advantage.

At least 7 years experience of working in
the Micro-finance sector.

A degree in the related field as business
management and social sciences majoring in, micro-finance, capacity building,
preferably at the Master's level.
2. Community capacity Building Adviser
(base at Islamabad)
The incumbent will be responsible to
provide the Country and Program unit Management and key staff with technical
advice and support to improve the design and implementation of community
capacity building programs and projects.
Experience and qualifications:
-
Excellent training skills to provide
technical staff and key community members with training on critical community
capacity building principals and practices.

To be an action player in a multi-sectoral
team and providing support to PU teams for the implementation of capacity
building at grass root level.

Excellent command of spoken and written
English and proficiency in use of computer.
-
7 to 10 years experience in the area of
community capacity building.
-
Master or higher degree in the relevant
discipline.
3. Community Development Facilitator
(based at Vehari)
The successful candidates should have the
following skills, experience and qualifications.
-
Demonstrated commitment to children,
their rights, humanitarian aid and the ability to co-ordinate interventions at
community level.

Good writing and analytical abilities.
-
Capacity building, facilitation and
training skills.
-
Excellent interpersonal skills, including
the ability to act as an effective advocate for children's right and needs.
-
Experience and skills in networking with
poor children and their families, NGO's local government and community - based
organizations.
-
A minimum of 2 years field experience.
-
A graduate or a degree in social
science or related subject.
-
Willingness to work in challenging
conditions and travel extensively to remote villages.
These positions require frequent travels
to plan supported communities and districts (Vehari, Chakwal and Islamabad).
